Updating panasonic firmware
Just days ago Panasonic released the much-awaited Firmware Update 1.2 for the Panasonic S1, unlocking the full potential of the video-oriented 4K full-frame mirrorless camera.You can find the link to where you can download the firmware update towards the bottom of this post, but before that let’s take a look at what is included in the firmware update.It appears firmware 1.2 is doing a great job at it! Would love to shoot 10bit color compressed files, like hdr10 . I really don't think I need to be shooting raw, and 8bit jpgs are pretty worthless for tweaking even minor things.

I make LUT based photo profiles so it would be awesome to see the right look in the finder.
And heck if it could output some nice jpegs that wouldn't hurt!
Software control of focus-delimiter would be easy to implement and extremely useful.
But I guess it is good business to only have focus-limiter in the most expensive lenses (and having only one option for the limit! No new buttons would be required, if It could be toggled via long-press of a Fn-button.
